This recipe adds a little flare to the everyday butter. I have been told that it tastes a lot like fresh home-made butter that was done by the churning process. It can be stored in the freezer until ready for use. Move to refrigerator a day before use.
- 1 lb butter
- 1 lb margarine
- 1 quart buttermilk
- several containers
Let the first two items soften then mix in the buttermilk. Pour into containers and let set.
